I thoroughly enjoyed the Absolute Beginner Course. The format was clear and consistent, it followed a logical progression of steps and there was plenty of opportunity to practice with the instructor.
With the simplistic way the steps were broken down, I went from thinking, “I’ve never danced, I’m not the most coordinated person, I’m not going to be able to do this.”, to “I can actually do these steps!”
It was lots of fun, and the beauty of the video format is that you can revisit the steps and information as often as you like.
I am absolutely inspired and have made contact with a local dance school that has started an adult beginner tap class.

I love the Advanced Beginner course! Bill does a wonderful job taking you through each step as if he is right there with you. I've wanted to start my tap journey for a couple of years now, and because of Just Tap, I've had the chance to really discover tap dance, and have so much fun with it.
The course is definitely worth the time and investment.

I could not have found a better video tutorial. The level of 'Just TAP' is exactly what I was looking for, comprehensive and fast paced; the video gives the ability to go back and pause whenever you want. It is unusual for me to buy anything that really satisfies what I was looking for, and this is one of the few.
The commentary and tips are brilliant. Often, a little insight that Bill gives makes a big difference to help the move 'click'. In particular, Bill's comments on weight transition and tips for speeding up were details I haven't seen on any other online tutorial.
After completing both courses, I'm now consolidating and speeding up with the help of the included combinations.

I cannot think of a better way to start (or restart) tap dance. The ‘Just TAP’ course was relaxed and had very good attention to technique. If followed correctly, there was really no opportunity to get lost or make technical mistakes.
The video format was perfect for me, and I much prefer this format to learn the basics than attending lessons. There is always the option to go back if required.
In my opinion, even an experienced dancer could benefit from this course.

The overall production quality is perfect, as is the clarity of the content. I felt I was 100% guided.
After finishing the course, I feel confident and sure of myself (with plenty to keep me busy with practice!).

I was originally a little apprehensive about learning tap from a video, but I really enjoyed the absolute beginner course. It was a fun way to reintroduce myself to tapping, only having done tap as a young child.
The course was well paced and easy to keep up with. I now feel I have a good understanding of the fundamentals of tap dance, and I feel encouraged and motivated, and can't wait to try more!

It is so refreshing as a teacher to utilise an additional resource and still be able to learn a new approach to tackling some "beginner" tap problems. The JUST TAP program is a visual teaching aid that allows beginners in tap to feel like they can go at their own pace. I loved the comment "it's never to late to start".
Building confidence and patience are important factors when starting out with tap. JUST TAP acts as a mentorship program to guide students through the basic principles and fundamentals of tap. The program does a fantastic job of describing some difficult concepts such as weight distribution, tapping faster and the importance of having a practice plan whilst keeping it realistic and consistent.
I am very impressed with the way that tap terminology and vocabulary was covered (it is often neglected). It gave me a new inspiration on how to start my classes; relax and remove all tension. The counting-in, the visuals of the body break-down and the time changes in speed give beginner students substantial content in understanding the basics.
Thank you for providing a resource for people to practice in their own home, so they can then talk the same language, and simply enjoy the magic of tap.
